As a Student, Binda was strongly influenced by the French Impressionists and the work of The Hague School. He paints mainly outdoor scenes which focus particularly on the study of light. His palette, which has for a long time been somewhat restrained, has grown brighter and
lighter. In this aspect his work shows an affinity with that of Rudi Getrouw. He is also gradually moving away from naturalism.
